When I bought my new Z I knew it would not fit thru the shed doors in the front, so I had my kids help me put a garage door opening into one side of the shed. I love doing this kind of work.

An inside pic. The ROPS clears the door with 1 inch to spare...

You need to support the header better. Double up the 2x4's on each side or you will be replacing the door, walls, header within a few years. JMO.

I agree. Definately not enough support, double up them 2x4's.

The 2 X 4's are doubled up. You just can't see them because they are behind the door track. The pic below shows them, one of them is pressure treated.

Robert,

Looks great.. nice job!

I'm also curious about the size.. I will be building a new shed soon.

Good job, the torsion springs are much better than the standard dual springs on either side of the track. I too enjoy all kinds of remodeling& repair work. I built the "shed" in my back yard (all but the concrete & block) 24X26 10' downstairs & 8' upstairs.

The shed is 12' by 20'. Now I wish it was a bit larger.
