valve problem

I went out to a new account today and they have a bit of a problem with their lawn irrigation. There are 2 anti-siphon valves for the back lawn, but one has great water pressure and the other has poor unless I turn the solenoid enough manually to open it up.

Is this a solenoid problem or do I just need to put a whole new valve on it? Its kind of a cheapo valve.. orbitz.

It actually sounds like a diaphragm problem.

Replace the diaphragm and it should hang right in there with the other valve.

If its easy enough I would repalce the whole valve. This way you know that everything is new and for $15.00 its cheap insurrance. One question? Is there anyway the water into the valve is be obstructed? This could reduce the amount of pressure going into the valve.
