Here are some details.

80,000 sq. ft. of turf divided into 3 sections
3600 feet of string trimming
600 feet of stick edging
12 small trees on the lawn and no other obstacles
no beds or hedges
will not be bagged
blow off 1/2 acre parking lot
mow, edge, blow every week.

I bid $180 a week, was wondering what some of you would have bid and why

There would be guys doing it for $80 a week here. My bid would be $160 to $225 depending on how flat it is and if it is accessible easily. I assume you are going to discharge the grass ? We have to bag everything here! Except for one.

A buck eighty does sound kinda high.. But you're in Cali.. Round here, Guys would bid 80.. I'd say $130..Roughly..

I do a "duplex" neighborhood similar in size for $150 and lose my butt if I use a helper-lol-- but by myself it takes 5 hrs humping at a good pace. check for a/c units, kids toys (hopefully no swings or playgrounds) and patios--they eat allot of my time trimming. wish i would have bid $200 lol-- maybe next year. and this is mow, trim and blow (edging once a month and up-keep with a trimmer) -- the owners do throw me a bone every now and then and let me mulch, trim bushes and weed for them. hope this helps and people are as "cheap" as they come in Kentucky.
