It seems some folks think a "big" man (or lady I guess) can't handle the heat and/or the work of lawncare, SO after reading "Foots" post earlier today I was wondering what size some of us are?

I am 46 years old and 6'5" 320lbs size 14 boot...and yes it payed for my college and yes I played football at every level:D

5'10 and 200 pounds with a 10.5 shoe size (not sure what that has to do with anything). I can't take the heat like I could about 15 years ago and 40 less pounds. I will be starting the South Beach diet in a couple weeks, so I hope I can get back down to where I was. I plan on going full time next year and just hope I am in shape. Another factor might be due to the fact I can quite take the heat now is because I would a 9 hour full time job at nights and then go out and work another 4 hours in the heat.

5 foot 9, 170 pounds. First year I was solo, I dropped from 205 pounds to 163 in 3 months. All that 21" pushing. Ran into a girl I knew, she thought I had cancer cuz of the sudden weight loss...LOL. Went from 38" pants to 33". All of a sudden, hot 20 year olds were hitting on me (well, maybe, at least they were friendlier to me)

Oh yeah, size 11

5'6 230lbs (all fat) but was 248 3 months ago (turning to muscle). 155 10 years ago before I quit smoking. A long time to blame that for the weight gain. :o
Mowing and sweating did the trick. Doc says 30 more to go. Better get out there and do some sweating during fall cleanup.

Oh, and shhhhhhhhhhh.
Still got the wife convinced that size doesn't matter.

5'10" and 275 lbs., I was 315 a few months ago but have happily sweated off 40 lbs. in the the hot sun. At 45 y.o. I still hit the weights six hours a week and pound the heavybag like a red-headed stepson.

Size does matter, or at least it does to me.
I know both ways as I was 6'1" and 360# on Oct 31 2000, I was able to work hard but the heat wore me out as did anything else.
Jan 2002 I was 155# and now I'm about 175 and holding. I do not feel the heat as much and I do not sweat as much. So yes I think it does matter.

Foot is 13 wide and has nothing to do with anything else!

By the way, to answer the question before it is asked-- No special diet. Just walking--over 10 miles a day, So I says to myself, self, how can I walk and make money- I know, I will buy a mower and push it as I walk--and, as they say, the rest is history.

53 years, 6' 1", 265 lbs, size 14 shoe, and enough to keep me happy. 1985 I weighed 204, stopped drinking and smoking gained 30 lbs in 30 days, went to 275 and haven't been able to lose it. (haven't really tried too hard either). Heat used to kill me, older I get less it matters.
