OK, last question about this exmark. I made up my mind and im going with the Exmark Metro HP. It comes with ECS and a Floating Deck. The dealer gave me a price of 3399 and another 179 for the bagger. My problem is whether i should get it now, (at the end of the season) or should i get it early march (beginning of the season) Please help me decide, and reason for your choosing. Thanks in advance..

$3399.00 for a belt drive? 36" or what? I got a 36" TTHP for $4199.99, dual hydros......the difference between night and day......and the price difference is not that large. Find another dealer. I know prices are higher there, but they can't be THAT much higher. A 36" metro here goes for $2000.00 + ECS is extra I'm sure, but not $1500.00 more.

Just my $.02

Peter, High price or not, (and that is kinda high, but everthing Exmark sells is overpriced IMO ) You will most likely be gatting it a LOT cheaper now, than next season... Every dealer I've talked to, has told me the same, with steel doubling in cost lately, You better believe the prices are going up next season...

Just my $.02 I have to agree. I spent something like $3500 on a belt drive Toro 36 Tbar a couple of years ago before I really knew anything about commercial mowers. It's a crappy mower, rarely gets used anymore and pretty much a waste of good money. These days, I'm all about spending a bit more and getting a machine that is not only going to meet your needs today but for the next few years as well.

I had a Metro HP a while back. I would certainly consider going hydro - if I had, I would still be using it today...
