Just wondering what kind of work you guys do doing the off season. I have been taking it easy and pushing a little snow, hopefully take a vacation later this month. Is anyone doing any lawn care or landscaping?

We are still doing "some" mowing here in Texas. Also we are doing some landscaping as well. The biggest thing we are doing right now is getting ready for the season, advertising, equipment..etc.

I'm still doing leaves in between the snows and also cleaning out a lot of gutters...Last week I also put down 14 yards of mulch...Just working 2-3 days a week but still bringing in pretty good money...Last Friday I cleaned out 14 apt. complex bldg. gutters @ $50.00 a pop...It took me and another guy about 5 hrs..Not too bad for this time of year..This is the latest in the year that I have ever worked since starting 5 yrs. ago..Clean-Cut

Steve 9,
Call of Duty is a great game and is Halo 2 out for PC yet?
We are still cutting a few lawns, putting out pine straw and doing some pruning. We are also getting equipment ready for next year and trying to get a few more accounts.

I have about thirty lawns that still need cutting every other week, but I have been doing some pressure cleaning, bruch clearing and some mulching to keep me relatively busy. I don't want to be to busy because I have a few projects I would like to get done around the house.

I'm doing business as usual, doing more irrigation jobs right now, though.

the lawns here don't really stop growing, they just slow down a little bit.

Cutting lawns every other week. Mulch installs are really picking up right now and I'm doing plenty of that. Just finished a 45 yard job yesterday (whew!) and have 5 others to do by the end of Jan. Plenty of $ to be made in clean-ups and mulch installs at this time of year.
