Burm ideas

Any ideas on building a berm 2ft high by14ft long to help divert water along a low area of a ditch next to her home. The client wants some kind of hard scape and dirt so that a heavy rain does'nt eventually wash it away. Also what are some good plant to camouflage the berm with? Thanks
