View Full Version : Convert Toro's SFS deck to the Turbo Force!

I've read many complaints about the SFS and much praise for the Turbo Force.I know they are different; gage steel and heavier spindles; but IMO what makes one great and the other not is the adjustable baffle. When I had a Toro Z "60"in I made a baffle just like Exmark's and just like that it cut and recut the clippings from one chamber to the next. Giving it more of a finished cut I did mine in about 2 hours welded it in place and had a totally different cut.

I have a 52" Toro Proline w/b with a sfs deck can you describe what you did a little better? Also would that work if you still needed to bag the clippings?

What really Makes the Turbo Force Great over the SFS is the added 2" of depth...& you can't modify that....

C&C, Look at the SFS you will see there is no baffle across the front of the deck like the Exmark. Basically mirror the baffle and have it welded or bolted to your deck. If you show it to any fabricator or welder they can do it in a short time

do you have pic of what you did and would be able to share it?
