I was wondering how much do you guys charge to rip out 3689 ft of irrigation pipe and then install the same amount of pipe elaswhere

Never had to rip out what is there. We have installed new systems and just left the existing pipe there. But not 3700 feet of pipe. Is this a commercial job?
Sorry, no ideas from me.

No big residential job. 9 zones with four heads per zone

Just use new pipe as it will last longer and not be compromised like the old pipe. Plus it will save on labor.

So are you saying to leave the old pipe in place? But they want the old pipe out because it causes drainage problems, and a retaining wall will be put on the same strip as the old pipe

I do not think the old pipe will really cause any problems. I would charge them an hourly rate for removing the old pipe and then just bid a totally nex system as you normally would, minus whatever components you will be re using
