I'm hoping for the best for you guys in Florida. I moved to Florida the year Andrew hit... southern West Palm. What a nerve racking experience that was. What a freakin' mess.... I hope you guys that are in the evacuation area... do just that. Be safe!

Haven't caught up on the news... is it pretty much set to hit Florida? It's awefully close!!!.... or is there still a chance for a northern turn?

I ask because the great majority of hurricanes from the atlantic hit either Florida or North Carolina...

T Edwards, didn't Hugo make landfall somewhere on the South Carolina coast? Oddly Hugo caused the most damage in this area of NC of any storm I can recall...

My thoughts and best wishes to everyone in the way of that storm. Hope you all come through it safely.

All I can say is grab something and hang on!! Seriously, I pray that everyone in the path of the storm(can you really call a hurricane the size of three US states a storm?) comes out unscathed, and that police can control looting of businesses and LCO's. We have family up in the Fort White are ,and friends in Panama City. I was actually planning on going down the week before Expo, but that may change. Good luck and God Bless....:)

I've been watching the news and keeping an eye on the National Hurricane Center's site as well as others and I must say, Although my family from down there is safely evacuated already, that is the largest damn storm I've ever seen in my entire life. If it remains it's size and course I'm afraid it'll swallow Florida as well as the others on the coast. It numbs me to think about it. That is some seriously scary sh!!t. You people have seen far too many hardships this year and I PRAY FOR EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU AS WELL AS YOUR FAMILY'S. TAKE CARE AND GOD SPEED.

Man that's big!!!! My prayers go out to my Florida and east coast LCO brothers. I just pray it doesn't run over Fl. and make it's way here. God Bless you guys.

We're all strapped and locked down here. Just finished up some lawns today, hardly had to blow...... had to utilize oversteer driving on the way home. Very nice mowing day I must say.

It's gonna be wet..... hope the oaks over my neighborhood hold strong. It's a category 3 now, so that's reassuring.

The community is really coming together here. I love it. I have talked to so many people here I normally wouldn't have. After the storm will be a really good communal experience here in Hollywood.

Good luck to all you guys and gals down there in Florida. Looks like Frances is weakening, if you can actually call it that, i don't think 115 mph winds are anything to sneeze at though. Take lots of pics for us.

finished up all of my lawns today and even helped out a few customers. Seems they didnt have a way to get any plywood to their house. I dropped the trailer and my partner mowed up the lawn while I ran them to Lowes to gather some up. Its a good feeling when you can help out someone in a time of need.
This hurricane looks like its going to be a pounder with tons of rain. I just got back last week with helping the charley victims with the air national guards. Now they called me up to go again. My house is in the path as well. Locking it down and bracing for the worse. Be prepared floridians, mother nature is at it again. Be Safe

we got all our customers in good shape, helped a few put up plywood if you were lucky enough to get any. every home depot had huge lines and as soon as a truck load pulled in it was gone in 15 minutes. we had batten down the hatches today and sit and wait for for the big monster to get here

I have never heard anything like it, and I dont care to ever again. It sounded like a freight train for 12 hours being the worst at 1 am to 5 am Sunday.
