New Truck Thoughts and Feedback

We are going to be buying a new truck, especially with the 2004 rebates now in place. Here is our idea.

2004 F-550 XLT (6.0 Deisel) with a 201" wheelbase. We are thinking of installing the Knapheide Landscaper body on the truck. This body will be installed and set back 40" from the cab of the truck. This 40" between the cab and the body would be a normal flat bed type of space. In this 40" we want to mount a 200 gallon skid sprayer.

What is everyones thoughts on this idea. Any experience with the Knapheide Landscaper body? We can get ours at 50% off because someone ordered it and never picked it up and the dealer wants to get rid of it.

One more question, has anyone used the skid sprayer from Northern Tools that they sell for $2200?

Now picture this set back 40" from the cab of the F550 and a 200 gallon sprayer in that 40"

I say go for it, looks like a nice setup. No, I haven't used a skid sprayer from Northern Tools, as I don't do apps. Just wanted to comment on that truck body. I'd put a hoist under it too.

The bed comes with a hoist. THe tool bax stays in place and the bed dumps.

all i know is the truck is self will be a work horse. The 6.0's are really good engines, had a few bugs but i think they're getting them worked out, the 05's are going to be extremly strong i guess, i think it was the 05's they were saying are going to set the pace for the other companies because they're so strong. I like the truck, i'd say go for it.
