How well do door hangers work?

Word of mouth is the best advertisement but door hangers do well if you get them out at the right time,If you snag 1% of the 100 doors you tag you are doing well.

Yeah, 1% is a good goal for flyers/doorhangers. In my area there are a couple companies that distribute flyers. Its pretty cheap, they put yours in with a bunch of others in a little plastic sleeve. Generally $25 per thousand flyers. That worked well for me in getting started. I'd check around and see if anyone does that around your area. Try putting out a thousand by yourself, it takes much longer than you realize.

I live in the Indianapolis area I was wondering if anyone new of any compaines that would be passing out the flyers
