I was considering a reel-type push mower for my front yard (5,000 sq ft) that consists of hybrid bermuda. I figured it would provide a better, more golf course-type look.
Well, I found this website: http://peoplepoweredmachines.com/brill_luxus.htm and figured it looked like a good mower, compared to some others I had looked at. I particularly liked the no-contact blade thing. But their site says, and an email to the owners confirmed, that they do not recommend mowing bermuda with a reel, that it is too dense.
What say ye on this matter?
