echo srm2100 blowing sparks

It is blowing sparks out of the exhaust.
This machine is about 3 years old.
Any Suggestions?

I have 2 of thoses.

it's time to beef up to the 2601. If you had it for 3 years thats good time on it.

retire it or use it as a back up.

Maybe your spark arrestor screen bit it!Just don't start a forest fire!

Three yr on the 2100 echo, its treated you well, I would agree check the screen, and exhaust, those 2601 echos kick butt, I agree use it for a back-up. I still have a old curved 2100 echo i keep on the trailer, even with four on, better to be safe than sorry. Hope what ever you purchase serves you well. Marks Mowing Service.

Yeah, either the spark arrestor or the exhaust port need cleaning.
