I have a 95 chevy (1500) Z71. Is this enough to pull a 7 x 14 or 7 x 16 trailer, with a Lazer z and Turf tracer on it?

You shouldn't have any problems....the only thing you'll wear on eventually would be the tranny, and much of that can be avoided by not using overdrive when doing most of your towing (off highway).

Likely it is. Total weight of trailer and equip stated is maybe, somewhere around 4k lbs? Towing capacities vary by make/model, 2wd vs. 4wd, what you have under the hood, auto/std transmission, gear ratio, etc. Check your owner's manual and see what your capacity is.

Guys, the Z71 is the 4x4 package.

It should be fine.

I have a 92 chevy 4x4 and i can pull up to 5000*

That truck should work great for you. The 5.7L is a work horse and shouldn't give you any problems. Like others have said, use a trailer with brakes since the factory brakes on a 1/2 ton pick-up aren't made to handle heavy loads. The brakes on my trailer have saved me from a couple accidents this year.
