In my city they recycle sewage sludge, BIOSOLIDS. They mix this with sawdust as a soil type "mulch" Seeds crack nice with it used as a topdressing.
Clients seem to think it's cool, I don't refer to it as sludge, well kinda- I tell them you know all that stuff you jam down the garbage disposal? ....
I DON'T use it on vegatable or fruit sites, though as I'm not convinced of the heavy metal issue....

Check with your sewage folks to see how they do their metals and chemicals testing. My community tests continually and fines violators at a rate of $1,000 per day. If you were expecting a $50 sewage bill and it comes in at $31,050, that gets your attention.

Companies are responsible for their own waste materials. If they have the bad stuff, they need to spend the bucks to properly get rid of it.

those sewage laws are federal....
i still wonder abut lou gerig when i apply...
but it WORKS great, and it's cheap....
