View Full Version : Planting Bulbs Now
One of my better accounts ask me to plant bulbs now for the spring. Is too late to plant them? I think I can drill the holes with a power auger.

It is better to plant late than to plant early. It is better to plant late than hold the bulbs until the spring. Most spring bulbs require a cold dormancy period or they will not flower. If you can get 'em in the ground, do it!

I agree. Just make sure they are positioneds correctly in the holes.
They take twice as long to bloom the other way. LOL
Just my .02
Plant Now rule of thumb, dig the hole around 3times the width of the bulb. Don't forget the bone meal, and the fat end goes down first.
