I'm replacing my bermuda lawn, and this time I'm trying to cover all bases, firts sprayed round up three times over a period of four weeks, fertilizing every time before I sprayed, then I rented a sod cutter and got rid of about two inches of thacht dead bermuda grass and weeds, I've been told to mix some compost and weed free top soil, and mix it in about six inches with a tiller, my only concern is that I have a twelve year old chinese elm in the middle of the area that I'm resseding and I don't know if tilling aroud it may really set it back or even kill it, at this point I'm really stuck and don't know what to do, if anybody could help me with any ideas I'll truly appreciate it.
