View Full Version : Accelerator for Toro Z-Master

I went to the accelerator website to look for a fit for my Z-Master but it looks like the only ones available are for Toro's walkbehinds. I have a model Z253 with the 62" SFS deck. Could any one tell me it there is a bagger that will fit my Z-master? Thank you.

The catchers fit to the deck. It does not matter if it is a walk behind or rider. Check This link:
Does you mower have an outlet like this? If it does, you can use GCTOSU or GCTOSUXL for the Jumbo. If your outlet is the older style, you need GCTO44/42 or GCTO44/52XL.

Thanks Peter, I'll check my deck with the photo from your website tonight. I appreciate your help with this matter. I've been looking for a relatively simple and inexpensive solution for leaf clean up and there are enough positive reviews and feedback at this website that I think your product will fit my needs.
I just can't believe that I've been looking for a solution for leaf collection for over a year and I never saw your products or even knew they existed until I saw your banner add at the top of the lawnsite website. Looks like a great product, everyone that talks about here at Lawnsite seems to have great things to say about Accelerator. Thanks again.

How much does the rear bagger system cost? Have you seen or used it in the past?

FLC Dave, I've never used a rear bagger but I have checked them out and the prices range from $1600 up to $2600. Two of the brands that I had priced were the Blue Birds and the Peco Vacs. They both use a "Pony" motor that you mount on the back of your ZTR. Both companies offer the older trash can style canisters or the dump from the seat models. Did most of my pricing before the beginning of this season so I'm sure prices have gone up some.

FLC Dave, After pricing them out, looking at how much trouble mounting and removing would be and wondering how much more trailer space they would take up, I decided to go with the less costly, low tech approach.

It sounds like they are not intended to be removed from the machine once attached. Low tech sounds good to me if that is true.
