I have a chance to buy a 240R bicycle handle type trimmer for a 100$$ It looks good and runs good. I believe it is about a 40 cc motor. It seems like it should be a hand held bush hog and would chew through any thing. Is my assuming right? Should i go for it??

Buy it. If it only lasts a year, then I'd say you got your money's worth.

well i bought it and am impressed. It weighs a ton, runs like a scalded ape, and chews through ANYTHING! Also slings stuff at ya at like mach four. I feel it was well worth the 115 it wound up costing me, and ought to really impress people when it rips through anything. Now i just have to go get some more super size line, find my strap, and work out those arm muscles!
