How do you put double blades

I am confused on how to put double blades on. do you just put them on top of each other in a + form? do you need any extra washers or anything? well i heard that double blades work well, i just wanted to do it the right way. Thanks for your replys.

that is correct....you will have to remove 1 spacer to keep the cutting height the same...the second blade will replace that spacer.
