I aerated and overseeded the lawn last week. Is there any reason why I shouldn't cut the grass this weekend?

How tall is the grass you planted? Has it germinated yet? Baby grasses need a lot of TLC when they first sprout. I would wait until they are 2-3", depending on what you planted.
