FERRIS CELEBRATES 95th ANNIVERSARY WITH GIVEAWAY PROMOTION AT GIE 2004

MUNNSVILLE, NY (October 13, 2004) - Some lucky winner will be walking away
from this years GIE show in Charlotte, North Carolina with a new Ferris
HydroCutT 32 hydro walk-behind mower valued at $2,499. The HydroCutT 32
features Ferris exclusives like Integrated Comfort Controls (ICCT) and
Quick-Adjust height-of-cut lever.

"The HydroCut walk-behind is a tool we believe will be on every landscaper's
trailer," says Bill Shea, vice president of sales and marketing for Ferris
Industries. "When you combine its narrow width with hydrostatic drive and
easy-to-use Integrated Comfort Controls, the HydroCut is easily the top
performing compact walk-behind in the commercial mowing industry," he says.
"At an affordable price, landscapers cannot afford to be without one in
their arsenal."

Visitors of the show that stop by the Ferris outdoor booth (#6020) or indoor
booth (#1342) will receive a FREE Ferris 95th anniversary logo hat and be
eligible to win the HydroCutT 32. The drawing will be held on Friday,
November 5 at 4:00pm at the Ferris indoor booth (#1342). Contestants must be present to win.

This year marks Ferris' 95th anniversary. Since its start in 1909 as the
Uebler Milking Machine Company, the driving force behind the company's
success has always been product innovation. The single hydro-drive
walk-behind was the first innovation Ferris received a patent for in 1989.

The HydroCutT32 features:
. 13-hp Kawasaki V-Twin engine
. Reliable Hydrostatic transmission
. Electric PTO
. 10-gauge, fabricated, double top deck with reinforced side skirts
and overlap welded corners
. Forward ground speeds of 0-5.5 mph
. Large 16" turf-friendly tires
. 2-year commercial warranty, front-to-rear on parts and labor

Sweet looking machine! I'll make sure to have room on my truck, in case I win. Which brings me to a question... What if someone who flies, or drives in a car, wins? Do they pick it up at a dealer closer to home??
Just wondering, this is my first GIE.

crawdad - that is a good question, but I am guessing you are right...probably pick it up at nearest dealer or maybe they will ship it. I can ask the sponsor and then post their response.

When? Never mind, I'll just haul it home, that's OK. Maybe I'll buy it off'n the winner, if I don't win it myself.
