The fastest way I have ever come across to do a leaf cleanup is to buy to "barn" fans the big one like they sell at TSC I think there 36 inchers. I had some differ'nt 220 volt motors put on them that came off of table saws. Purchase the motors at a place that rebuilds and sell new one. Put 1 fan at each corner of the house pointing slightly inward, and fire up the generator. Do not turn the fans on yet! I get in the middle of them and use the BP blower to clean the beds and around the front stoop blowing it toward the front. Now kick on the fans and get out of the way, because the yard will be leaf and small branch free in 20 to 30 seconds :) Turn the fans off and use the BP to make a straight line for the city to suck them up, or make a pile for you to suck them up. On an 8-10k front yard it takes approx 5 min. to get the fans off the truck and place them another 5 minute to clean the beds and about 5 minutes to pile them up. So double that time for the back yd also and I can have a full leaf & fall clean up in less than an hr including loading back up and thats solo. and it works great even on wet leaves. smaller yards would take a little less time but not much becouse the majority of time is in the setup/ takedown payup payup payup

My dad has 240 of those fans in the 1,400 ft free stall cow barn. Looks like I better ask dear old Dad for a favor, haha

C'mon Mac.

U serious? I've done leaf removal for a while, and really don't know if your theory works. I think ur kidding, but I bet all the newbies are running to TSC right now. Cheaper than big backpacks.

Absolutely serious here what you can do to prove it to yourself use 2 walk behind blowers placed at the same place I described or 2 bp blowers but neither will have the power of the "big fans" and try it yourself. You will be sending me points or receiving a bill payup

How far does it blow the debris?
Does using a table saw motor run the fan alot faster?
If it runs alot faster does the fan try to lift-off?
Have you ever thought of putting it on wheels to get it done quicker?
Got any pics :) ?
