I got a call today asking for weekly lawn maintenance and for the grass to be bagged and hauled away. Every single town in my area does not accept grass clippings in the trash or the recycling center. THis was a good sized yard too.
How do you handle it?

I am able to compost all grass clipping and leaves. Use in garden "Great tomato's this year". Also use compost on all landscape plants, shrubs, Tree installations.

Tell them you can't because the city ordinances won't allow them in the dump and that you're a respectable business that abides by the law.

I would try to explain the value of not bagging.........if they don't bite........

charge accordingly........

in my case, I would pass.

Ask them if they would like to start a compost pile on their property if space will allow.
