Hello,

Does anyone have any good info on the new Honda commercial 21". Someone posted on here it's going to have a different deck & double blades. An HRX brought to the commercial level ?

It will still have the steel deck.

Very hard to tell what the differences are at this point, no info out on it yet. Ill let you all know when I get something.

Thanks for the info Fareway. This is really going to tighten up the 21 market. If it mulches as good as my modified HRC 216 it should kill the Proline market share in the 21 segment. My Honda mulches grass and leaves so much better than my proline it's for sale. Suzuki 2 cycle with one months use by my wife.

I demoed the new Honda 21" commercial mower at EXPO last month. These new ones are pretty sweet. A friend of mine (who was with me @ Expo) is planning to purchase one or two for next season.

So, dishboy, you're selling your Proline? I might be interested--send me a PM with your asking price, etc.

Unless Honda replaces their sorry, no torque engine, their machines will never mulch worth a darn. I gave up on Honda a long time ago. Great machines for routine or ligh duty mowing and bagging. However, the Honda engines just die in heavy mowing and mulching. I will put any Kawasaki-powered 21" mower up against a Honda-powered mower, and make the Honda look sick in heavy mowing conditions.

I wonder how those Xenoy wheels are going to last? I bet if you just changed out the wheels on the old ones that you would loose at least 4 pounds off the total weight.
