I ran double high lifts (that's all I have) on my Simplicity over the weekend. I fabricated a discharge block-off plate out of some scrap sheet metal. It chopped the leaves and pine needles up really well. The only problem I had was blow-out from the front of the deck. Any ideas how to eliminate this? I just mowed everything towards the center and then made my last few passes over the pile in reverse to keep the leaves from blowiing out the front.

Your question is "How to eliminate blow out."

Instead of using double hi-lifts, get a set of "sand blades". They are perfectly flat & have all for corners sharpened. They don't add any lift so they reduce the blow-out. Also since they are sharp on all 4 corners, you can use them until the one side is dull, then flip them over and use some more. I use them with a set of Gators. It gives an extra CHOP to the leaves.

Those are some very impressive pictures. You have more leaves on the ground then we do here in Northern Va.
