What do you think of this truck (89 F450 dsl)

I have been looking for a bigger truck with a diesel. My friend has had this truck for several years now and decided he wants to sell it.

89 F450
7.3 diesel
5 spd
163k miles
7X12 flat bed

It is in good shape and a good looking truck.

If you have seen pics of FSM's truck it looks like that,only the cab is red and it has chrome wheels on it.

He has done lots of work to it- new glow plugs,tires,exhaust,ect

I can get it for $3000.

Check it out, have the coolant tested for the SCA content. If it has no SCA, run from it. But other than that, the 7.3L is a great engine. Should be able to get at least 300k out of it. The 5 speed ZF-5 is a very good unit as well. Sounds like a great rig.
