These pics are of common bermuda growing in a pile of sand left over from topdressing my front lawn.Proof that bermuda loves sand.

It will take over your lawn and it dies back in the winter leaving the lawn brown.

I hate bermuda with a passion. I had a lady call me wanting to put it in her yard. If I put it in her yard....I doubt I would get anymore business in the area!

Wow!Really?You mean,a warm season grass will go dormant in the winter?Who'd a thunk it?

here we are 100% sand (small island). bermuda does really well here. only problem with sand is sting nematodes. also our soils are extremely alkaline, so bermuda has a pale green color.
