I have a Metro 36" that was purchased in 1996. It has 501 hours on it. I mow about 1 1/2 acres and would like to shorten my mowing time by moving up to a 48". I've enjoyed the quality and durability of the mower and am trying to get a ball-park estimate on what I might expect to pay for a new mower and trade-in my 'ol buddy.
Again, just looking for a ball-park........thanks.

Find a good used 52" TTHP which will likely have almost same price as new Metro 36" or 48" but, but, the performance is through the roof, no kidding. I myself looking for a hydro 36 or 48 TTHP, a used one to replace my 36" Metro.

Mike,
Trade in is something that only you and your dealer can establish. The condition of the mower, maintenance and even current market conditions all dictate trade in values.
Good luck
