View Full Version : How not to renovate a lawn

See attached pic. I gave a bid to renovate this lawn - kill existing Zoysia grass, power rake, and power seed with Fescue. The owners did not accept my bid. Apparently, they got somebody cheaper or did it themselves. I think they did it themselves. Now that the grass is coming in, it's a little uneven. The front looks worse.

oh thats beautiful. maybe he was just trying to lay down some type of design for all to see :rolleyes: i dont know how you could mess up a job that bad lol. how hard is it to run and overseedeer in both directions and overlap so you dont miss any?

It sorta reminds me of the lawns I visit on Halloween that stuck me for $$$$$$
except one could see a "$" somewhere in the front!

Looks like the homeowner figured he could have a couple cold ones while he renovated his lawn. I'd aproach him and see if he is willing to accept your bid now...
