Wasn't sure if this should go in Mechanical forum or here.

Anyway, my '96 Ford F-250 makes a lot of noise when I'm turning the steering wheel. More so during harder turns.
It's kind of a whining sound for lack of a better description.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Check your power steering fluid. Most Ford trucks of that era have that steering whine. Mine does. If it's loud you're probably low on fluid. But they will almost always make some kind of noise regardless of fluid level--its just their nature.

I second that.

I second that.

My 95 does it.
