Here are some fading annual color installs. Here in Texas we do 2 or 3 color changes a year. Getting ready to rip these out and put in pansies next week.

1. edged side walk with bremuda truf
2. before mulch
3. after mulch
4. close up of trailer (see the black box attached to the side? It has "take one" written on it with my fliers inside. I though it might get some use...but the same 10 fliers are in there from day one  )

Gezz...this was my post from a few years ago.....

Yes, I tested some Redmax trimmers for Turf last year.

Still have the same truck / trailer, just not as shiny now. Added 2 ford rangers last year. The loaded 4 cylinder rangers get 18-20 MPG.

Buck
That was exactly my question do they take a brochure or do they take a rake. Or maybe one of each just in case the estimate you give them doesn't pan out at least they still have the rake to do it themselves.

Pic of one of our rangers as requested. The design is not mine, but another lawnsite user. Many of us on lawnsite have these ranger conversions.

where do you put the grass clippings?

LawnInOrder
07-30-2006, 08:24 PM
that is the way i think i am going. What do you carry on their. Could i put a w/b and a 21" mower? How much did that set up back for the truck and conversion flat bed>? I think that is the way i will be going. Thanks LawnInOrder

No clippings - we mulch warm season grasses.

We haul three 21"s in ours. I have put a 36" hydro in before, but it is slow to load and unload. Also, the 36" is too heavy for every day hauling in these trucks IMO.
