ive been getting my butt kicked by leaves lately.im considering a truck mounted leaf loader for my 1995 chevy 2500 with a truckcraft dump insert.i am looking at little wonder,billy goat,and giant vac.anyone have any of these?pros/cons of a leaf loader?whats the best way to build a leaf box?any thoughts on prices for these units?

We have the big Billy goat truck mount, I think it has 16 horse engine. Work well for us, I don't know any different though.
My only suggestion would be to figure out a way to dump w/out having to dismount leaf vac. Tough for two to lift off truck, especially when allready beat up by leaves.

Had a 11hp giant vac work good with the dry ones wet ones clogged alot.

My dump truck has "barn doors" on the back. My 16 hp BillyGoat is attached to one door. We just swing the doors open. Strap the door with the vacuum 180 degrees from the closed door position. and dump.

Get the most powerful leaf loader you can afford. The little ones will clog and be a pain, I would get at least a 20hp.

i don't have pic just at the moment but they are surely the bomb. i saw these guys in maine that had one and i modeled it after theirs. loader on the front now i can tow my trailer and load my leaves from one rig!!
