Dwarf mondo grass and lawn

Is there going to be a problem planting dwarf mondo grass right next to the lawn? I think the mondo grass sends out runners, but will go under ground and popup in the lawn?

Keep it in a well edged bed,that should hold it back.

It spreads very slowly, and the sprouts can be pulled up and moved. I've had some planted for over a year and it hasn't moved an inch.
