Looks great.

But I gotta ask...why the dump insert in the flatbed? Why not put a hoist on it?

That is one nice rig.

But like GLS said, why the insert not a dump bed.

Thanks Mark & GLS. NNJ It was a home depo truck. I was going to pull the bed & replace with a dump body but went with the insert. With the dump body I would not have any storage space now with the insert the sides fold down to store saws, hedgetrimmers, tools, cooler, etc. So far it has worked out great. Now if I have to cut & Mulch Don't have to switch trailers. Also I do a lot of cleanup jobs for property Managers Instead of making two different trips {two different trailers] one trip unless it takes two trips for the hauling.

John P. Bought the truck from a dealer who buys leased vehicles. Paid $13000.00 for it. It's one great truck. 2001 with 52000 miles on it.

Thats a good looking set up you got there!

Do you have any other pictures of that homedepot truck?
Looks like that bed would be multi-versatile/functional.

That is a great looking truck you have, i love it! Another qustion for you do you have an idea on how much that dump insert is, and what did you pay for it. How much weight can you put in one and still be able to dump it?

John P The dumper cost $2200.00 installed. Could have got a little cheaper but did not want to drive 150 miles. Lifting capacity I don't know. Mostly used for Mulch & cleanup jobs. It will hold 6 yds of mulch. I did Haul 2000lbs
of sand & dumped with no problems.

how is your f-350 for towing? Have you put it to work yet with towing loads, or just hauling loads in the dump insert? And also what type of maintnace is there with the dump inserts, and are you happy with it?

John P. I tow My 16ft lawn trailer or my other 8x10 EZ dump trailer with the truck. No problems. You Can't tell there is a trailer back there. Handles very well with the insert loaded & the 8x10 loaded. 6 yds. mulch with the insert & 7.5 yds with the dump trailer. Very little maintenance with the insert. Grease the fittings at the start of the season. Had the EZ dump trailer for 5 yrs. Never had one problem with it. Very happy with both I would not buy any other brand. Below is a picture of the dump trailer.
