what does everyone get for a bobcat per hour?

what about half and full days?

Am I right in thinking that the half / full day is a better way to charge?

what about minimums? thanks for the help!!!

$75 an hour?

Minimum of half day rate.

I don't own one yet, but am working on getting one and formulating prices still so don't take my suggestion as the rule.

What are you talking here? Just a machine rental or use charge, or does that include an operator? Are you looking for what to charge per hour for services? Need specifics. That will only apply to your market anyways as opposed to across the country.

I was talking about an operator and a machine, I was just wondering what the going price is everywhere

If you rent out any of your equipment, do you have to have insurance other than what you have for landscaping?

Another question that varies soo much by are it not worth taking prices from here and applying them to your circumstances. Here bobcat work is so cheap, I don;t see how operator/owners make the payments. Alot of operators charge out $45-50/ hr on average with bucket. Can go up to $100+ depending on which cat you have and which attachment you'r using though.

Minimum $350.00 half day. $500.00 full day. But, when I place a bid to a customer I never tell them a half day. Because, if I finish the job that I based the price on early (before I hit the noon mark), they think they own me till then and they'll try to add more work on...Doesn't work that way.......In turn, if I under estimate the time or I'm a poor operator and it takes me longer, I can't change the price to say it took me longer now you owe me a full day. That's not fair to them....

In SE michigan, a bobcat is about $250/day delivered. it does not include an operator. delivery is another $30 or so. attachments are extra.

for $125, i'd just rent one every day i need it...why even buy one? cheaper to rent it than own. you guys should charge more.

I charge $85 an hour for our skid steer with a spade on it including an operator. I do have an 8 hour minimum though.

My subcontractor charges $65/hour, but his normal price is $75. He has no minimum for me, but I would so for at least a half day minimum.
