last year i saw a lawn care operator with his walker
dumping grass in a very nice pond (about 3 acers)guess why
he was doing this?

My guess would be that he is trying to fill the pond because the clippings will pile up just like silt layers.

fish need it for their flowerbeds. :)

Softer than sleeping on the mud floor.

Pesticide in grass will do funny things to the fish. :cool:

It may sound dumb, but I think he wants to kill the fish
that are in the pond. Heard one time that excess nitrogen kills fish

Is he feeding White Amure (grass carp)?
I know I used to catch then on grass balls thats dough balls mixed with lots of grass.

eric you had it but naturalawn got the closest.
the pond was over populated with grass carp so the pond
had nothing for them to eat there was about 30 of theme
as long as a dash board of your truck they would gooble
the grass up as fast as he would could get it he said
home owners wanted him to dump it in there .

sounds like he needs to get some fish out of there. What happens to the fish during winter?
