Might as well be new, 55 hours, 48" 20hp Kohler Scag Tiger Cub, 2004 model.

What's one worth?

I've found that a walkbehind is more useful for me and considering (haven't made my my mind up yet) selling the Cub and getting a newer WB of my own, presently borrowing an old 36" JD on half of my hilly and small lots.

The 2004,48" Scag Tiger Cub has a 19 hp Kawi engine. - how did you get one with a Kohler ?

It costs about $5800 new with warranty. If it does not have a warranty i would say $4500-$5000. Probibly $5000 with some warranty remaining.

Sam-Ohio, You can get the Tiger cub with either a 19 hp Kawasaki or a 20 hp Kohler engine.

Sam, you sure about that? I was looking to buy a cub before buying my Turf Tiger earlier this year and I saw them with the Kohler and the Kawasaki. Maybe the Kohler model I saw was a leftover, I don't recall. Here is a listing of the configurations for the cub right from the Scag site:

STC48A-19KA --- 48" Advantage Cutter Deck, 19hp Kawasaki air-cooled engine
STC48A-20CV --- 48" Advantage Cutter Deck, 20hp Kohler air-cooled engine
STC48A-21KA --- 48" Advantage Cutter Deck, 21hp Kawasaki air-cooled engine
STC52A-23KA --- 52" Advantage Cutter Deck, 23hp Kawasaki air-cooled engine
STC52A-24HN --- 52" Advantage Cutter Deck, 24hp Honda air-cooled engine

Rob :

The 48" Scag Cub with a 19 hp Kawi was the only version available in Ohio, and Michigan.
The 20 hp Kohler version was in other states I guess- as shown in your post.

I know the Kohler engine is available on the tiger cubs here in Kentucky and it is listed in their mower catalog.

Post it up on eBay with a 4995.00 reserve price.

Thanks for the input, I was counting on asking between $4500 and $5000 so your input was encouraging.
