Is there a gadget that I can place in a given spot in a yard and it gather info?

Like Sunlight & Intensity & Length

Something that I can leave, go do my thing, then come back at the end of the day and it give me all the info?

Something to use for planting light requirements and such. I don't know.

you should be able to get a good idea by looking at the site and determining east via a compass
