Tested a z-sprayer the past several days, I used the z-spray intermediate and must say that after a "learning period" this thing kick's my centri permagreen in its a$$. have used it on larger lawns (really shines on these) and some condos, my question is for z-owners, would the larger z-max with its wider boom length (10' vs 8') get in the way much? the twin 20 gal tanks on the z-max is what I really want (hate stopping to fill tank) and does the 4" wider stance make it handle any better on hills than the intermediate?? I don't like slamming the PG but with only 300 hrs on it I've replaced everything except the engine, some things two and three times, and I'm done with it, New Magnum or not...I still think a 6.5 hp engine is too small (even a Honda) but it's a step in the right direction, yeah the z cost more but you know what, down time COST MORE.....Thanks for any input.

qps, I ahve had Tom put 8' boom on my z pluggr, and it seems very nice so I really cannot speak to how wide the 10' is but to get to my point Tom will put any size boom on any size z spray if I were a betting man

I got the 8' boom and the single 20 gal tank. Tom recommended the twin 20's for me and I sure wish I had listened. Since I have the 8' boom, I can't give ya a good answer on the 10 but I wish I had the 10. Don't ya just hate how he demo's those things. It's sooo hard to take it back.

If you fold the booms in on smaller lawns and only use the center section, you are all set.
