Hey nice mower.

Let us know how it works for you, there seems to be allot of controversy about these machines.

Mind saying what you paid.

Nice looking machine there Mower Mike. I looked at one of those a couple months back at a county fair and I would like to demo one someday. Let us know how it works.

Is that your place in the picture? If so, awesome looking piece of land you have there.

I paid $7000.00 From pines mower company (Pembroke Pines, Florida) I was down to the Husqvarna and the John Deere 757. John Deere wanted $8000.00 for there 60" . The hydraulic motor are the same on both, the pumps are different. The frame and deck look much stronger on the Husqvarna. The Deere had a 25 hp Kawasaki and the husky is a 27 hp Kohler. I bought it for personal use only. I have twelve acres and mow six with this and the other with a bush hog behind a tractor.

Nice place you have. I like the mower also. It looks like you wouldn't have any problems mowing with that machine. Good Luck

Personally I think that mower looks nicer then any scag I've seen. Maybe that why you are saying that, a little jealous that your orange mower isn't the best looking one any more, even though there is more to it then looks.

Why is it that every Scag I see has paint that is really faded and old looking? Seems like I see some rust spots on them too. I'm not bashing Scag at all here, I've never been behind one or put my butt on one so I'm not in any way knocking them, but do they use a crappy paint or something? From what I've heard they are good machines and can really take a beating, and from the pics I've seen it looks like they DO take a beating.

Up North,
You don't see other brands with faded paint because they don't outlast their paint jobs like Scags do.

I own that exact same model Husky and am pleased with it Mower Mike---make sure you got the parking brake upgrade, though, or it will catch a little while you're mowing

I also own a Scag turf tiger with over 1000 hrs on it that has only worn out one hydro belt and one deck idler pulley.

In my opinion the bang for the buck is about the same on either one.

it looks like a race car with that design

I thought the same thing when I saw that. Looks like you are laying down and the thing is going to take off.

I am sure as a property owner he will be very happy with that machine.

Please let us know how she works for you. Would be interested in your opinion of quality of cut etc.

Hey Mower Mike,
Very nice looking machine you've got there. I looked at a couple of Husqys before I bought my Scag and it was definitely a contender. It should work out very well for you. How about some more pictures of it in action...
