I am looking to add one of these to my home in a few weeks and was curious to see what some of the different rates throughout the country were.

SBC (http://www.sbc.com) is our local carrier and they have a a special going for $48.95 per month. Includes unlimited local, toll, and nationwide long distance. According to their website this service is available in Indiana, so you might want to check it out.

don't get it setup as a business line (sure you get listed in the white pages free under your name and number), but just get a residential line and use it for your business.

Here for a business line it costs you 30 cents per call received and sent, as well as the monthly service charge....not worth it.

WOW! My business line is $30/month with local/long distance billed at 1.8 cents/min. Incoming calls are free. My total monthly bill runs around $35.

With as much time on this site I will assume that most of you guys are on a high speed internet connection. If that is the case you can get a VOIP (Voice of Internet Proctocol) for a buisness less than $50 which includes and additional line for fax, unlimited calling with voicemail call forwarding and many more features. You can get their residential service runs about $27 all taxes included for unlimited calling. If you are interested PM with your email address and I will send you a referal.
