Gopher and Quickbooks are pretty reasonable.

Also maybe go to download.com to see what they have there. Sometimes you can get some freeware there

Have you done a search? Go on ebay, they may have what your looking for. I have used all kinds of software and Gopher works for me, easy to learn, cost is reasonable.

There was somebody on here that swore by his $30 program from Office Depot (or something similar). He had been in business for 10 or so years and loved this program. If you do a search you might be able to find a thread of two on the subject. It was something like "My Accountant" or "My Scheduler". I personally use Lawn Monkey and would be lost without in...during the busy season. Makes invoicing very simple. No more writing out invoices or even mailing addresses. Cheap it is not...around $800, but there are a few that run around $200...I think Gopher is one of them. Most all of them offer a free demo CD.....the demo's are either based on a limited time use or limited customer base. I think the Lawn Monkey demo was limited on 5 customers. Search this site...you will find what you are looking for.

these programs at Home Depot and Staples are put out by Z-Land Software. Very good company with customer support. I actually run my payroll program through them that I paid $20 for at Staples, and then all I have to do is pay $120 per year for constant tax updates (unlimited updates for the year). Great company I feel. Even with the updates once you pay, you just go online and download the update.
