Has anyone gotten or requested for a government grant to help fund their lco business? I just wanted to know if it was possible or a realistic choice. If so, what are the logistics of it.

There is no such thing. Get out there and shake the bushes and find some customers. Some people will tell you it's posible but their just jerking your chain, so they can laugh at you for believing them. You'll find a Gov. grant the same day you find Big Foot.

on the 1-10 realism scale, maybe a 1. for the most part, government programs are set-up to aid non-profits.
the 1 out of the 10 comes into play if you are of native america descent, you could do something fairly complicated. it involves purchasing land from a small farm town through some obscure, prior settlement of the area, building a casino, and then funneling the money from said casino into your lco business. since i see you are from ohio, you might try the town of botkins. it's apparently ripe for it. ;)

You would be better off in a 7-11 on the Lotto

I checked into something like this once, it was a county program for new small businesses. There were a lot of stipulations and conditions you had to agree to before getting into the program. It may have made sense if I was opening a restaurant, but to start an LCO, it would have been more hassle than it was worth.

I have looked into small business loans with the government, and the paperwork and procedure to apply for it is not worth it I feel
