Test for Pesticides

There has been much discussion regarding appying pesticide and fertilize. How does one get certified? Do you need to be licensed to apply fertilizer or just pesticide?

Hey, in maryland you must have either 1 year of experience with a currently licensed applicator or have taken courses that will provide you with same experience. You need to contact the MDA (Maryland Dept. of Agriculture) and they will send you the info packet.

I am a member of the Professional Lawn Care Assn. of America. They are an excellent source of info. You have a question, they have ananswer. I highly recomend them if you are thinking of joining an organization. If you more involved in landscaping, I have heard that ALCA is very good as well.
