office space

I'm having a house built in late 2005 and i was thinking of getting a second lot next to my house. i am planing a cut thou gate an the side to my yard and the whole office lot would have a 8' fence around it. i made up a layout plan. what should i change on it to make it more usable if needed?

Im surprised zoning would allow you to build a office/shop/nursery on a lot right next to a residential home. I assume you have checked out the zoning laws for your area?
