I finally took a few pictures of my truck. The quality is HORRIBLE. If anyone can clean them up for me, I would greatly appreciate it.

I do lawn care and landscaping and a lot of mulch installations. Biggest trailer I pull is a 7x14. My lawn trailer is 6x12. thanks for the compliments. I wish the quality was better

John, it's an open trailer. This will be my first year plowing on my own. Actually I get my plow hooked up tomorrow. I will be ready to go after that!

The truck has been great. My only complaint would be that after 134,000 miles, the tranny started to slip. Other than that, it's a beast

come to think of it, are their any ways to help a slipping tranny?

Try trans-x great stuff. should help. If that don't help it's gonna need a rebuild.

We were thinking of doing a wrap design on our new one, but since we lease these, it may not be an option.

nice truck steve. looks like you're ready for winter

Hey metro, if you lease a truck can you put graphics on it? do you have to take them off before turning it in? do they charge you extra for it? just wondering because I may want to lease my next truck. thanks

thanks, expert.

it;s a 4x2....did not have enough money to get a 4x4....actually, until i got a few clients, i never realized that it is beter to spend the money once, get what you really want, so that you never regret the purchase. The bigger the better is a very true saying....

the problem with my truck that it was probably used before i bought it for construction jobs.....the bed is all scratched up and the springs are weak. i might have to get them re-rolled if i end up doing more landscaping jobs next year.

my dream truck would be an F-250, diesel, 4x4, super cab and 8ft bed....

from work, i can get that a 2004 for about 26K....but dont have this kind of money.

well that gives you some incentive to grow. imagine the feeling when you finally buy that f-250

OR you could get a used F-250 diesel off of ebaymotors, a 1999 or 2000 for around $14,000 depending on miles.

yeah, but the kind of truck i am talking about has 25 miles on the odometer.

honestly, i did not think about looking on ebay motors when i was looking for my truck.

The out side look's nice. Put a bed liner in it to protect the bed and add some helper spring's and you will be good to go. :D

I haven't had much luck with ebay lately. The plow I bought came with the wrong wiring harness, so now I have to buy a new one and try to sell the one it came with. What a hassle

I honestly don't get why people buy new with the prices today. Trucks value drop tremendously after they have 50,000+ miles on them.

same here...after i posted what i said earlier, that i did not cvheck Ebay.....i remembered that i checked ebay before i purchased my truck....the prices were so damn high, and you never know if you will win....it tends to be competative at the end and you spend more $$ than you wanted to in the first place. at least i do.

so i just checked on autotrader.com and got mine at a great price.

alarsh,

those were pretty good, but i specifically wanted a super cab. when you add a supercab body, the price jumps....Then the mileage was high on those vehicles too.

i got mine with 89K for $7K. that included my trade in and everything. at that time, i was not ready to pay for a truck anymore. i had $5K to invest in equipment too.

yeah, there may be some deals and i am sure that there are on ebay...but i was pressed for time. i just looked at the completed listings for under $10K.....most of them did not met their reserve....next time i will spend more time looking around.

I see. Milage doesn't bother me much if the truck has been well cared for, but I guess that is a variable you have to factor in.
