Width of the 48" deck

Terry,

I already own a metro 32" and really like the machine. I plan to add a Z to my equipment this coming year. I like the idea of a 48" deck but a lot of decks are actually 49" to 53.5" wide. (I need to be able to get through 4 foot gates) How wide is the 48" Lazer HP deck with the chute up? and approx how wide would one be if it were fitted with a OCDC?

The 48" Lazer HP is 50.3" wide with the chute up but only about 48.1" with the mulch kit installed which would allow you to remove the discharge chute. Besides the mulch kit works pretty well in most conditions.

As far as the OCDC is concerned this is an aftermarket attachment and you would need to contact the manufacturer.
