When is the last day of clean-ups for you?

Assuming the weather is not terrible for the next few weeks, what is the last day you hope to be doing fall clean-ups this season. For me I'm, hoping it'll be around Dec 17th, maybe 20th at the worst. It could even be earlier than the 17th, but I'm shooting for the 17th and assuming a rain day or two.
Last year with the rain, wind, snow and frozen leaves I didn't even finish all the clean-ups entirely and spring clean-ups were a bit sucky. This year seems to be going much better. So, what's your situation? I'm always excited to be done by Christmas. Do you do clean-ups after Christmas regularly, or do you always try to get done before that? I'm sure the dates will change from north to south and that some are long done, like you lucky Canadians.

I am down to 31 clean ups but I have no employees sticking it out so it has just been my partner and me for the last week. We still have been getting 3-5 a day I figure I have 9 more days of clean ups. But once we get a real snowstorm the game is up but I will keep going till that happens I may just make it. We had over 100 clean ups on our list so I have made a dent.

Just talked to Tony earlier - we have 130 to go. Should be done by end of December. Still have a few landscape projects to get done too.

Oh it always ends just not always well. I think I will be happy if I only miss 10-15 clean ups on my list. All I will say is 20hp is not enough I am going to get a bigger VAC.

I thought I was done 2 weeks ago but I keep getting more jobs to do and I just got a couple of calls today for a cleanup and a mow. I'm booked for the next 3 days. I'm not complaining though.

I can remember attending Xmas partie for the LCO I worked for. We would just about finish by then. I have two to do now perhaps three. A lot of work for a one man crew as I work alone. Snow season is soon to approach.

My last clean-ups are usually in April, when I go to do the first cut of the year and have to charge extra for all the customers who swore they "didn't really have any leaves" in the Fall.

I'm with macaw.......rain is killing me..Raining right now.........

I've got about half of my contract customers to finish up on and 2 will call customers. I should be completely done with leaf clean ups by Christmas if the rain will give up just a little.

Four to do tomorrow and that is all she wrote...unless I get some calls I guess. Even then I might turn them down. I would like to winterize all my equipment before it gets too cold. Suppose to be 58º ro 59º this weekend and then start dropping off.

We have been getting a couple of calls here and there for small clean-ups lately,no snow in the forecast until next week so this might be the end of it.

More like, "When is your last mowing?". Mowing has gotten in the way of my cleanups. Normally I'm through mowing by Halloween, but this year has been different. When I thought it was the last cut for some accounts, I had to mow it 2 more times. I was mowing last week, and still have about 10 properties that need one last cut. I'm still at the tip of the iceberg when it comes to cleanups, but I've learned which ones to do first. My snowbird (seasonal) customers are on the bottom of the list. Out of 50 cleanups, I have 30 to go, not including all the extras people want done.

Next Friday for me. Although there are companies in town that still have too much work, I will be able to sub my services to help them.
